While experiencing Dullstroom trout fly fishing in style at Walkersons Hotel & Spa (golf carts, chonky troot, spa treatments and fine dining), Matt Kennedy found that he had a few (exactly 17) lessons to learn about fly fishing in Dullstroom for what he considered “easy stillwater trout.”

From learning that his usual stillwater tactics aren’t perfect, and having to adapt them, to figuring out that Walkersons Hotel & Spa has a treasured trout stream – The Lundsklip – flowing past it, Matt’s weekend spent Dullstroom was one of growth and humility.
