“Timely preparation for future eventualities”  – that’s the dictionary definition of “Providence” or at least one of them. The other one is “the protective care of God or of nature as a spiritual power.” It does not matter which one talks to you, because for Warwick Leslie, a few things happened when he saw his buddy Dre‘s photos of a recent Providence trip.

1. His going to Providence became a future eventuality.

2. He indulged in plenty of timely preparation, spending the better part of a year tying Alphlexo crabs, GT brush flies and everything in between for what was to be the trip of a lifetime.

3. From what we have seen and heard, he must have seen the protective care of God/Nature as a spiritual power because he came back a changed man.
