Feathers & Fluoro co-founder Peter Coetzee is one enigmatic mo-fo. In his mid-30s, the guy has a relative baby face and yet every now and then he drops something into conversation like, “When I was commercial pilot, we used to fly into Bamako all the time…”
Other than being a commercial pilot at the age of 11, he’s done a lot of other things too. He’s built both cars and business empires, tied a shitload of amazing flies and DIYed some incredible destinations. Maybe it’s just that he’s a vampire and has had several lives.
Anyway, when he’s not getting stuck on the Yemeni archipelago of Socotra in the middle of a pandemic (read all about that in issue 24), you will find Peter bluelining unpressured waters around Gauteng wherever he can, accompanied by his trusty canine sidekick, Rocky.
For issue 24 they assembled a suitably blues-driven playlist. Best enjoyed with a beer or a scotch.
