It was a beautiful weekend, and I promised the lady I would spend it with her.  On Saturday I decided to take the old supfisher on the canals around the waterfront apartments and one & only hotel for some exercise.

I had one of those moments at home where I took about 3 minutes spinning on the spot deciding whether or not to take a rod.  I decided not to.  And Murphy was watching.

The mullet were too fast to photograph, and just as I was trying I spotted two much bigger guys on the back of the shoal, that eventually gave chase.  Yellowtail.  Yup.  Two of them.  Urban Yellowtail.  Imagine that.  Not big (around 2/3kg), but still.
