The stuff of dreams
I would love to go on a trip like that for a week into the mountains with only a backpack and your fly rod.
It was 8 days in total. 140 km walking and very few fish of any size. But wow what an epic trip it was. Fished 4 rivers in total. All very low and have been severely depleted of fish due to several dry years. Brown’s and rainbows but none bigger than half a pound.
