As seen in Blue Planet 2, the sooty tern buffet features bird-eating giant trevally that are apparently able to calculate the speed and movement of terns flying just above the water’s surface. This makes the defenceless birds viable prey items for the geets – rad stuff. (photo screenshotted from Blue Planet 2)
