Here is a little carp home movie I recently made – special thanks to Andre van Wyk and Tudor Caradoc-Davies for their contribution with camera work. The theme of the movie is ‘Carp Giant’ because they are not celebrated as much as they should be in the fly fishing scene – carp are in fact giant, so go give them a shot!
Fred Davis and Andre both mentioned something about carp fishing that is absolutely spot on and that is to slow down when targeting them on fly. I realised how much truth there was in their words when I looked at some of the hookup footage in this movie. I guess that’s a valuable tip to take home!
