STOCKING FILLER
A decent cape or collection of Flatwing Hackles or whatever they are called.. Those long skinny beautiful things that waggle in the water for big BEAST and streamer patterns.
A Stash of Trouthunter Fluoro Tippet from 03X to 3x.
A Stash of Gamakatsu SL12’s in every size I need for the next four years.
Island Tribe – You can never have enough of this stuff. In the gel and stick format. Somehow I always lose my Island Tribe Stick on trips. (Ed’s note: Dre does not use this stuff as suncream but instead as ball chafe ointment…seriously).
Patagonia Sun Gloves – the best I’ve found, but they got passed off to a guide on St.Brandons who had forgotten his back home.
SUBLIME
A full range of Hardy Fortuna X series reels, the discontinued model… X1, X2 and X3… but not the X4, I’m not Peter Coetzee!
Fly lines that do what they say on the box.
RIDICULOUS
