We recently experienced unseasonable downpours in the Western Cape, heavy thunder showers that resulted in 50-100 mm rain in less than a day in some places. While our garden flooded and massive hail pellets wreaked havoc in the Paarl area, our good mate Platon Trakoshis sent us short cell phone clips of sharptooth catfish trying to jump a weir in the Berg River.
