A few months ago Jimmy and I fished a session at strand and he gave me one of his DMAs.  His flies are always an education in innovation, and this one was no different.

“What the hell did you coat this head with?”.
“That sticks like shit stuff!”
Of course I had no clue he was referring to an actual product.  That is actually called sticks like shit. Usually these heads are covered in epoxy and crack and break, but this one was virtually indistructable.

Of course it wasnt long until I was trying it on crabs.  And I was tickled to discover that mixing it with enamel paint changes none of its properties.
