We’ve done the draw for the one-of-a-kind Black Mamba rod made by Swift Fly Fishing‘s Trevor Bourne for issue 10 of The Mission and the lucky bastard taking home this one-of-a-kind, premium quality 6-weight carbon fibre (graphite) fly rod is Mr Gareth Cooke.

If you are one of the billions of people on this planet who are not Gareth Cooke, we’d like to offer our condolences. All hate mail to be directed to Mr Cooke himself.

If it’s any consolation, from his Instagram feed (IG: @gareththecooke) Mr Cooke appears to hit the Vaal relatively often so at least the Black mamba will be getting some action.
